BlackCat and Clop have claimed a #ransomware attack against Estée Lauder, one of the world's largest cosmetics manufacturers.
According to a company statement, #hackers gained unauthorized access to its systems and stole some data.
The cosmetics company shut down some of its systems to mitigate the incident and has launched an investigation in cooperation with #cybersecurity experts and law enforcement.
The #BlackCat hackers claimed to have successfully stolen over 130 gigabytes of company data, but did not encrypt the network.
